Like in most things, if you do not know where you are going and don't plan for it, you reduce the chances
of achieving your goal. In genealogy I find it useful to put on paper what I am looking for and how I plan
to achieve it. As I discover or "hear of" a possible lead I write it into my planner and thus avoid
forgetting to follow that possibly all important lead. Also the planner prevents me from repeatedly going
to the same search locations for things I could have searched at one time.
This is the planner I use for that purpose.
