Purim in Iran
Archives
Unfortunately very few useful archives exist. The Chief Rabbi's office
was instituted in 1940 so that is when their records begin and they are
in chronological date order which makes them hard to use.
Possibilities include the
Alliance Israelite Universelle in Paris (mostly school student lists)
and some microfilms of these records at the CAHJP (Central Archives
for the History of the Jewish People) in Jerusalem.
The burial society for Persian Jews might also have useful information:
Hevra kadisha Irgun Yotzei Paras, Behar Nissim 46, 94509 Jerusalem.

There are many books of interest to a researcher of Iranian Jewry.
